Our faith isn’t always steady. Some days we feel strong, bold, and full of belief. Other days, doubts whisper and worries feel louder than truth. Our hearts can swing from hope to fear, from joy to heaviness—sometimes all in the same day. But in all of it, one thing remains constant: God never changes.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” — Hebrews 13:8
His love is not based on how strong our faith feels in the moment. His promises are not revoked because we’re struggling to believe them. His presence doesn’t depend on our emotions. God is unshakable. Unmovable. Faithful even when we feel faithless.
When we feel far from God, it isn’t because He moved. When we doubt His word, it doesn’t make His truth any less true. He is still who He says He is. His word still stands. His grace still covers. His arms are still open.
Our walk with God will have seasons—some vibrant, some quiet, some filled with light, others shadowed by uncertainty. But in every season, we can rest in this truth: God does not change. His character is constant. His goodness endures. His faithfulness is forever.
So if today you feel weary, unsure, or distant, don’t let that convince you God has changed. He hasn’t. And He never will.
Hold on to that truth—especially when you feel like you’re holding on to nothing else.
